Ordinary Earth boy, Lear, accidentally receives his uncle's legacy - a second-hand spaceship. He will take over from his uncle and become an intergalactic miner, a colonialist, exploring a small, uncharted planet on the galactic frontier. Will his youth be buried in this molehill of a job? The galaxy is full of organizations, both legitimate and illegitimate: the Alliance government, the Space Force, corporations trying to monopolize shipping routes, smugglers, pirates, bounty hunters, anti-government forces, and the remnants of the Noalion Empire. Knowing nothing about it, Lear enters the chaotic universe without any precaution. How big a wave can this stone of unknown energy throw into the sea create?
